Our Audiologists

Gabriela Perez-Saenz, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Gabriela Perez-Saenz has a deep passion for helping individuals with hearing loss hear better and improve their quality of life through amplification. This passion began at a young age when her mother was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease. Dr. Perez-Saenz’s desire to help others grew after seeing, first hand, the impact her vertigo and hearing loss had on her mother. Dr. Perez-Saenz continuously strives to provide exceptional quality care to individuals with communication and hearing difficulties. Dr. Perez-Saenz is a New Mexico native from Las Cruces, New Mexico. She received her undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Utah. Dr. Perez-Saenz has had a range of experiences within her profession beginning in graduate school. She has taken part in numerous extended learning opportunities in the areas of audiology, patient care, and hearing device technology. In October 2016, she also volunteered with the Starkey Hearing Foundation on a mission trip to Colombia fitting hearing devices on individuals with hearing loss. Dr. Perez-Saenz has served as President and Vice-President for University of Utah’s local Student Academy of Audiology Chapter, and she served as a committee member of the Chapter Relations Committee for the National Student Academy of Audiology. Dr. Perez-Saenz lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband Jason, and their two Golden Retrievers, Oliver and Dodger. When Dr. Perez-Saenz and her husband are not working, they enjoy exploring Colorado, spending time with their families, traveling, and spending time outdoors with their pups.

John Molina, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Molina lives in South Denver Metro with his daughter Kyla who is hearing impaired in one ear. “Of all the challenges that my daughter could have faced, I feel blessed that hearing loss is something that I know a wealth of information about. In addition, it is inspiring to think that because of this one day my daughter may join me as an Audiologist”. Dr. Molina is also a member of Sertoma DTC, which stands for SERvice TO MAnkind and the Rotary Club of Parker. This non-profit organization provides support to our local communities to help hearing and other impaired-individuals who cannot afford rehabilitative services on their own.

Katie Steffen, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Steffen has a strong desire to help individuals with hearing loss communicate and interact more completely with the world around them. Her interest in Audiology began when she started taking American Sign Language classes in high school and transferred to treating patients with hearing and balance disorders in college. She is a Colorado native who has lived everywhere from Colorado Springs to Greeley. Dr. Steffen completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder and attended the University of Northern Colorado for her Doctoral program. She has served as the treasurer for the Student Academy of Audiology and maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association. In 2020, Dr. Steffen presented her Doctoral Scholarly Project on the "Effects of Written Instructions on Field Real Ear Attenuation at Threshold Measurements" at the National Hearing Conservation Association annual conference.
