Dr. Ellyn Kuehne’s interest in hearing healthcare began when she first recognized a high pitch ringing in her ear at the age of 8. Since that time, Dr. Kuehne recognized a genetic hearing loss in her family history as the cause of not only her tinnitus but also the hearing loss of her grandfather and mother. Dr. Kuehne understands the impact a hearing loss can have on relationships of families and strives to provide patients with better communication between loved ones. Dr. Kuehne’s clinical interest is focused on cochlear implants and hearing aids and she develops an individualized path for each patient she meets with. Dr. Kuehne obtained her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York and moved on to obtain her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. She fell in love with Colorado throughout her time in graduate school and spends as much of her free time as she can in the mountains. When she is not hiking or skiing, she is a certified yoga instructor and teaches at a local studio near her home in Denver, Colorado.
